At Grid Society, we have come to deeply understand and truly respect the power of 1.
We are grateful that people are beginning to log on to our online personal development workshops from 5 parts of the globe. So far, we have had attendees join us from England, Wales, Africa, the UAE, and Australia, one person at a time.
United Kingdom
The UK is our home. It is where we are based and so far, our workshops have been filled mostly with people from all across England, and a few from Wales, each showing up, ready to do the work. We are yet to reach attendees from Scotland or Ireland, but we are watching… and waiting 👀
Wales
Very early on in our online workshop journey, which officially launched in January 2025, we were delighted to have welcomed three different attendees from Wales at separate points across our Confront the Grey Voices: Overcome Your Inner Critic sessions. As Confront the Grey Voices was the first workshop we transferred from a face-to-face format to an online version, it was a meaningful sign that Grid Society was already beginning to expand across the UK. Seeing people from outside of England, our geographical base, show up to do the inner work gave us confidence to keep going with our mission.
Nigeria (Lagos)
In the spring of 2025, via our Instagram platform @thisisgridlife, our first attendee from Lagos, Nigeria showed up for one of our online sessions. She joined Confront the Grey Voices: Overcome Your Inner Critic, and the experience marked a powerful milestone for us.
Amazingly, we were running on almost the same time zone, give or take an hour, and she even sent us a photo to cement the occasion.
We were proud, humbled, and encouraged, proof that Grid Society was reaching further than we imagined.
Australia
In the late summer of 2025, we welcomed our first-ever Australian attendee into a Confront the Grey Voices session. Our workshop began in the morning, but for her, it was already evening.
Different time zones. Same mission.
This was our furthest attendee to date. A reminder that when inner work calls, distance is no barrier.

Throughout 2025, we were able to run a number of face-to-face workshops in Dubai, pioneered and delivered by Grid Society Ambassador Anita Stewart, all of which she held in person.
However, when two attendees showed up for one of our online sessions, we were genuinely surprised and delighted. The first session they joined was the Building Boundaries Workshop, and later they signed up for the Vision Quest Workshop.
Our delight stretched even further when they told us it was Google Search that officially introduced them to us. Shout out to Google.
One Person at a Time
These moments may seem small, but to us, they mean everything. Things do not begin with thousands, or even hundreds. They begin with 1.
Which is why we said at the start of this blog post: never underestimate the power of 1. All it takes is:
1 person deciding they are ready.
1 person choosing to join.
1 person saying yes to their next level.
Once we see the one, we wait for the two, then the three. Just like that, it becomes a quiet sign that we may be carving out our personal development niche in a new country, in a new place, with more people ready to use our unique perspective to guide them through the inner work.
