Today marks the exciting launch of the 2nd workbook in the Grid Society™ Pattern Recognition Collection™.

Be among the first to explore I Struggle with People-Pleasing and Boundaries and discover a new way of recognising the recurring patterns that shape your relationships, confidence, and decisions.

🟠 What Is the Pattern Recognition Collection™?

The Pattern Recognition Collection™ is a growing library of downloadable self-reflection workbooks.

🟠 Crowded Minds

Our minds are often filled with different thoughts, worries, assumptions, and recurring conversations. When everything is happening at once, it can become difficult to understand what you are really thinking or know where to begin.

🟠 Untangle the Invisible

Instead of trying to make sense of everything at once, each volume focuses on one recurring internal conversation.

These conversations can feel negative, confusing, heavy, or sometimes all three.

By exploring the thoughts, behaviours, and patterns behind them, what we at Grid Society™ call Grey Thoughts, it becomes easier to untangle the invisible, recognise hidden patterns, and understand what has been happening beneath the surface.

🟠 One Thought at a Time

Focusing on one internal conversation at a time makes it easier to recognise what needs to change, increase your awareness, and begin responding differently.

The Collection Continues...

Built around the Grid Society Concept™

⬇︎

The Pattern Recognition Collection™ is built around the signature Grid Society™ concept, the Universal Grid. A concept we have successfully used with counsellors, educators, colleges, universities, and professionals.

The key elements of the concept, the Grey Grid, the Green Grid, and the Orange Grid, make the process of dissecting problems more engaging. They also make patterns of thought easier to recognise and personal growth easier to measure.

The Philosophy

⬇︎

The philosophy behind every workbook is simple: The sooner a pattern is recognised, the sooner it can begin to change.

The 2nd Release

⬇︎

People-pleasing often begins with good intentions. Over time, those good intentions can become guilt, pressure, overthinking, and the feeling that saying "no" makes you a bad person. Volume 2 helps you recognise those patterns before they become your normal.

Our Building Boundaries Workshop brought us here...

It Started in Our Workshops

The ideas behind this workbook grew from our Building Boundaries workshop, first delivered at the Counselling & Psychotherapy Training Academy (CPTA) for Level 4 counsellors.

As we delivered the workshop and listened to participants, the same internal conversations kept appearing. Many people spoke about struggling to say "no", feeling responsible for everyone else, putting other people's needs before their own, and feeling guilty whenever they tried to set healthy boundaries.

It became clear that these were not isolated experiences. They were recurring patterns that quietly shaped people's decisions, relationships, and sense of self.

From Workshop to a New Framework

Building on the signature Grid Society™ concept that sits at the heart of our workshops, we wanted to create something people could continue using long after the workshop had ended.

That led us to develop the Pattern Recognition Framework™, giving people a practical way to recognise recurring thoughts, behaviours, and patterns, and return to them whenever those same internal conversations reappeared.

3 ways to use Volume 2:

I struggle with people-pleasing and boundaries

The People-Pleasing Pattern

How People Use It:

  1. A quick 15-minute reflection tool whenever people-pleasing or difficulty setting boundaries begins to take over.

  2. Something to return to at 4 a.m. by reading through the Life on the Universal Grid™ sections when your thoughts begin to spiral.

  3. An immersive workbook with a mindset progress tracker, journalling prompts, and guided reflection activities that you can return to whenever the same patterns begin to reappear.

RECOGNISE THESE PATTERNS?

  • Other people's moods quickly become your responsibility.

  • You explain your decisions in paragraphs instead of believing that "I can't" is enough.

  • You change your opinions or preferences depending on who you are with.

  • You look for reassurance before trusting your own judgement.

  • You keep giving your time, energy, and attention away, leaving yourself with very little left.

The Workbook Collection is growing...

This is just the beginning...

I Struggle with People-Pleasing and Boundaries is the 2nd volume in the Pattern Recognition Collection™, exploring another common thinking and behaviour pattern that can shape everyday decisions and relationships.

Every few weeks, a new volume will be added to the collection, each one exploring a different recurring pattern, behaviour, or internal conversation.

The question is not whether another volume is coming; it is whether your pattern will be next.
