Live it. Orange Tales Only™: The Stories You Choose to Tell Yourself and Others
The philosophy behind Orange Tales Only™

At Grid Society, we help people develop greater self-awareness, recognise behavioural patterns and make more intentional choices about how they think, feel and live through our personal development workshops, workbooks and learning experiences.
At the heart of our philosophy is the Universal Grid™, a metaphorical world built around three states of mind:
This fictional world allows people to step outside their everyday experiences, observe their thoughts and behaviours from a different perspective and navigate real-life situations with greater awareness.
To complement the Universal Grid™, we created the Grid Society Lexicon™, a dictionary of original phrases and terminology that gives people a distinctive vocabulary to describe their thoughts, emotions and behaviours as they move across the Grid.

Much to our delight, this vocabulary has become a shared language, used by Grid Society readers and workshop attendees to name emotions, pinpoint where they are in life and speak with precision about the changes they are experiencing and making.
We do not use these terms casually. They give shape to what is often invisible and help people explain the hard-to-explain. We use them to locate ourselves, name patterns and push back against the things that keep us stuck.
Orange Tales Only™ – Definition
Orange Tales Only™ is a Grid Society philosophy centred on sharing personal stories with clarity and intention that reflect progress, gratitude, inner growth or success.
These stories provide real-life evidence that the Orange Grid™ (visions, dreams and future plans) can become reality for you and others, inspiring belief in what can be achieved and experienced.

3 things to know about the Orange Tales Only™ philosophy
Orange Tales often begin with the smallest moments.
An Orange Tale does not have to be a grand achievement, a life-changing event or a major milestone. It could be something as simple as having a good conversation, making a decision you have been putting off, receiving an unexpected compliment or finally doing something you have been meaning to do.
Sometimes, it is simply recognising that today was better than yesterday.
These small experiences deserve to be acknowledged too. They give us something positive to reflect on, something worth sharing and a reminder that progress is happening in ways we might otherwise overlook.
An Orange Tale does not have to be extraordinary to be meaningful.
Orange Tales provide the receipts
An Orange Tale is evidence of something you have experienced, achieved or made possible.
It might be a goal you finally reached, a personal breakthrough or a life you once imagined beginning to take shape.
These stories remind you that your visions, dreams and future plans are not just things to think about. They can become experiences you actually live.
Orange Tales give you something real to look back on and say, “I did that.”
Learn to speak highly of yourself, then extend it to others
Orange Tales Only™ starts with you. Learning to recognise your own achievements, appreciate your progress and speak positively about yourself is an important part of the philosophy.
Once you begin recognising your own Orange Moments™, you can extend that same awareness to others. Notice their achievements, acknowledge their progress and celebrate the good things happening in their lives.
The more you practise recognising what is good in your own life, the more naturally you begin to recognise and appreciate it in the lives of others.
The Orange Tales you recognise in yourself can teach you to recognise what is worth celebrating in others.
