Our 2nd CPD Workshop for Counsellors and Coaches left participants inspired and equipped

Updated: Jul 2

Saturday’s Silencing the Inner Critic Workshop for Counsellors and Coaches delivered far more than theory. Hosted online with 6 hours of CPCAB-approved CPD, it offered practical, immediately usable tools for counsellors, supervisors and coaches navigating the real work of the client room.

The feedback was instant, powerful and deeply reflective of what happens when professionals are given a framework that speaks their language, not just academically, but emotionally and operationally.

The reviews have come in, and they speak for themselves. Words like inspirational, challenging, insightful and customisable kept surfacing. One practitioner said the Grid provided a much-needed “scaffold” for working with clients. Another spoke of how the Defence Court model helped them break through layers of self-talk that had previously gone unchallenged. From the Grey Thoughts exercises to the practical application of the 13 Steps, delegates left with more than insights. They left with a method that works.

This was not surface learning. It was a reset. From equipping attendees with tactile client tools to igniting mindset shifts around the Grid Society Concept Map, every moment was built to help practitioners lead better, think sharper and serve deeper. For many, it validated what they had always felt: that good therapy is not just about listening. It is about giving clients the language, structure and support to move forward with clarity.
