Straight after the success of our summer workshops in the UK with the Counselling & Psychotherapy Training Academy, our Dubai Ambassador, Anita, took a bold leap and signed us up to bring our debut workshop, Confront the Grey Voices, to the UAE!
Anita shared with conviction that the vibrant women’s network she belonged to would greatly benefit from the message and practical activities of the workshop. This dynamic network, Women Who Thrive, was about to experience a truly transformative event. The date was set: October 27, 2024.
In the six weeks leading up to the event, we prepared eagerly, knowing every detail had to be flawless for our international debut. Products were shipped, and we collaborated closely with printers in Dubai to ensure each workbook looked and felt perfect. After all, first impressions matter. Grid Society was going global—and Dubai was the first stop!
Then came surprising news: not just one, but two back-to-back workshops had been scheduled! As excitement among attendees continued to grow, both sessions filled up rapidly. This was more than just a sold-out event; it was a sign that our message was resonating beyond borders. We knew we had something powerful in the UK, but how would the UAE receive it?
While preparations continued in Dubai, inquiries poured in back in the UK. By then, we had already scheduled five new workshops for November!
October 27 – Workshop Day
The day arrived, 9:30 AM UAE time, and the response was beyond our expectations. The workshops were incredibly well-received, and the energy in the room was noticeable. Our UAE Ambassador, Anita, delivered with unmatched passion, pouring her heart into helping attendees face their inner voices. By the second workshop, even the organisers joined in, eager to experience the impact firsthand!
Social media quickly came alive as attendees shared their experiences, with posts pouring in throughout the day. For the next 24 hours, we proudly shared the flood of positive feedback across our Instagram Stories, thrilled to witness the reach and resonance of our message.
